Some might say in this fine month of August that I am oozing with machismo. Others might say I’m just plain cheesy- and they would be right!
But con queso or sin queso, Target Family Days has a latin theme on August 8th, and I thought the Andyland Band could get in on the fiesta!
So visit my shows page, and help spice up your last full month of summer by attending this or any one of my live performances- and tell them Andrès Zeta sent ya!
YELP IF YOU LOVE ANDYLAND!

Ooh, can you hear that? It’s the sound of sizzlin’ summery goodness! (just use your imagination, it IS Andyland after all…)
We’ve already had record crowds at the Menlo Park Library and Santa Clara Library’s Family Concerts
and we’re looking for more of the same. The more the merrier I always say!
This month’s musical adventures include return trips to Foster City’s BIG 4th of July celebration and the Campbell Summer Concert series,
Radio Disney’s Camp Blackhawk in Danville, my debut at the Carmel Library, and more cool shows at libraries and Western Athletic Clubs.
Visit my Shows page for all shows and details
Oh, and Cecil The Dragon wanted to say: “Happy Independence Day! Go to the Games & Activities page and play my NEW GAME!”

WOULD- YOU- LIKE- TO- PLAY- A- GAME?
(said in robotic voice) Man, I can’t get through one newsletter without dating myself! Well, most of the kids don’t know about
“War Games”, but this classic concentration matching game is just for them! And it stars fan favorite, Cecil The Dragon (left),
along with other Andyland friends. Check it out! It’s the first one, but there are more to come!

Well it definitely amazed me! Thanks to you, my loyal, fun-loving awesomebelievable (look it up, uh no, don’t) fans, my performance at the 30th Annual San Carlos Hometown Days this past Sunday was huge success.
In fact, it was the biggest turn-out yet, and I’ve been doing The Days for 4 years now!
Also a big thanks to dancers Kenzie and Emily for helping me unveil the Official Andyland Map, and doing some dance moves too, without any notice that they would be doing so.
And of course, thanks to the
San Carlos/Belmont Mother’s Club (and for the cool “SC” hat) as well as Susan at Clocktower Music for bringing me back again. See more pictures here.

There was no “almost” about this event. We’ve been the performing act at Redwood City’s Almost Mother’s Day Event in Courthouse Square every year since it’s inception 3 years ago, and this one was the best one yet!
You’ve got to check out the “best of” pics here!
Highlights included clucking like chickens and crowing like roosters “All Around The Kitchen” (or should I say, all around the courtyard), Lauren Savage’s lead vocal on “Up, Up, Up”, and “Race Car Drivin’” as a screamin’ encore. Oh yeah, and there were beads for all during my song “Perfect Day”

as well as a beautiful Andyland gift basket Won after the show (the Winners will be officially announced on Z Blog very soon).
Thanks to all who attended as well as the band: Ed, Jim, Dave and Dan, the singers: Lauren & Caity from The Reading Bug, and the lone dancer who has the energy of twenty, Kenzie Freeman.

Merry month of May to all! Say, did you know May 4th is Teacher Appreciation Day and that May 3rd through the 7th is Teacher Appreciation Week? Well it is, which is why I’m sharing this photo taken at last year’s Los Altos Art & Wine Fest (CA) of me and my 6th grade teacher, Ms. Ward.
She left a lasting positive impression on me at an early age, like so many teachers do, by seeing the potential within me and cultivating it. Teachers are given this all-important responsibility, although they most often are not paid accordingly.
So give a teacher a hug today, and give them praise, because it’s our children they help to raise! And of course, let’s show Mom how much we love her everyday. Our Andyland Band show honors her this Saturday! See all May shows and details on the shows page.

I could not have asked for a better finale for Week Of The Young Child than my two shows at the San Jose (CA) Library’s Edenvale and Cambrian branches!
I was delighted to see new people as well as some long-time fans from way back in 2002 join me in Andyland on this fine Saturday!

Anna Burns (left) came in full Scarecrow costume and made the perfect one during the song.
Rosalee Nordblom (below) continued her tradition of being my Squirrely Squirrel puppeteer at the shows she attends.

Being able to interact with individual kids (and adults) is the coolest thing about playing library shows! See the Top 10 pics from Saturday here.

Yes I know, a strong statement, but it’s been a magical March- anything but mundane!
Let’s start with riding in a firetruck with SF Giants mascot Lou Seal and San Jose Giants mascot Gigante to the Highlander Little League Opening Ceremonies, where we got to lead the crowd in a rousing rendition of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame”. Watch the video

Next, my first performance at Play Cafè in Oakland, CA. This is a great venue, and as you can see, me and the kids were having a blast!
I strongly urge you all to check out this kid friendly cafè and play space when you’re in the area. I will return in late summer to perform again!
And last, but definitely not least, playing for a packed house filled with wonderful folks and avid fans at an awesome new venue, The Reading Bug in San Carlos, CA. This is a wonderful and very comfortable children’s book and toy store, and I can honestly say it’s my new favorite!
See my Top 10 images from this weekend here. Blog ya again real soon!
